Which reassignments does this cover?
Reassignments from Basic flying; the time limit depends on when the original trip was due to release. § 20-L-2 § 20-L-2-a
Can I get off a reassignment that runs late?
Yes, if it was made before 1400 local base time the day before your original trip ends and it returns to base on or after that last day: you can ask to be removed the first time it passes through base. § 20-L-6-a
What if I’ll miss the last flight home?
If the reassignment brings you back after your original release with less than two hours before the last flight to your home of record, you get positive-space travel home, including the next day, and a hotel on request if you arrive too late. Ask at the time of reassignment. § 20-L-6-b
What if I’m a commuter and it runs into my day off?
If the reassignment into a day off keeps you from getting back to your primary residence that day, you get a hotel room on request. § 20-L-2-b
